Jackie Don Loe is an extraordinary guitarist with both live performance and studio credentials to showcase his wide variety of styles. Loe played guitar with the Al "TNT" Braggs show band from 1990 to 1998, and then backed up R&B singer Lou Hampton before fronting his own bands "Zzajj Tu" in 1997 with saxophonist Leroy Locke, and the perpetual acoustic side project "Hippie Stew" with Kelly O'Shea.

Following that, he toured with "The Smoking Blue Jays" from 2000 to 2002 and is currently performing in Dallas at Nate's Seafood every week hosting the "Sunday Blues Happening".

Other recurring local gigs include every Thursday night at the legendary Hole in the Wall with the "Electric Trio"and every fourth Wednesday of the month at Nate's Seafood supporting the "Soul Revue" with Dallas Soul Legends, Bobby Patterson and Lou Hampton.

Jackie Don Loe is the on-call recording guitarist at Artisan Studios and is also the author of the "Guitar Workshop" every month in Southwest Blues magazine.

He plays through a Category 5 Andrew 2 x 12 combo.
